Project Execution Procedures
A Responsible Principal is allocated to each project and remains responsible to the Client for successful completion from briefing through to project close-out. Where project size and complexity require it, a Project Leader coordinates the various in-house groups and maintains project information throughout design and construction.
A Principal, Engineer or Senior Technician experienced in the relevant installation is responsible for the briefing, design, specification and construction stages. Technical staff are assigned to projects and sub-projects as required.
DSV uses a structured project-execution quality-management system supported with standard guidance notes, models, examples and checklists. At the completion of each work stage, project outputs are reviewed by an evaluating Principal.
Quality Assurance Systems
Integral to DSV's project execution procedures is a collection of quality systems based on ISO 9001 principles. These include:
- Backup and monitor systems
- Project costing, briefing, design and specification checklists and worklists
- Documented practice manuals
